Okatibbee Lake, December 11, 2008, Twiltley Branch Campground, Collinsville MS
This website has never been fully realized. Ideas for what I want to accomplish with it get half implemented, stuff gets patched, and it never really reaches a point where I'm happy with it. So I spent the weekend trying to make some progress. My new pages on Night Camps are coming together nicely. The Archives have been a real mess and I have some ideas to try there.

Persistent and Ineradicable Instinct
Whenever we have a strong and persistent and ineradicable instinct, we may be sure that it is not original with us, but inherited -- inherited from away back, and hardened and perfected by the petrifying influence of time.
