New Mexico State Parks Annual Camping Permit

The New Mexico State Parks Annual Camping Permit program is a fantastic bargain for those of us who camp at their State Parks regularly. For out of state residents the charge is $225.00, entitling one to free camping in Primitive and Developed Sites without water and electric hookups. There is an extra charge of $4.00 per night for Developed sites with electric and water hookups. The permit is good until the end of the month of the year following purchase so buying the permit today gets me a permit good through February 28, 2010. That's 13 months camping for $225.00. Plus hookups when I want them. Not a bad deal.
